DESCRIPTION:Be sure to read all information on this site carefully before proceeding. \nRegistration: 8:30 am Riders Meeting: 9:30 am Ride goes until: 2:30 – 3:00 pm \nLOCATION: Calabogie North Side Pit \nSPONSOR: Woody’s Cycles \nREGISTRATION: The event is capped at 85\, sign up below. \nCOST: Free for BMA members and only open to BMA members \nLUNCH: Free. Expect something interesting from the BMA outdoor kitchen (drinks included). \nSUMMARY: \nThis guided ride is in memory of Steve Garnsey\, a BMA member and contributor to the BMA and trail development in the Calabogie area. \nWe will stage from the gravel pit that serves as the normal staging area for Northside Riding and enjoy the sweet sounds\, smells\, and vistas of Calabogie’s north-side trails. This will be a guided ride\, with groups organized during the riders Meeting. \nTo ensure the safety of all riders and volunteers\, the total number of attendees for this event is limited to 85 total\, including riders and volunteers. \nYou are asked to register and complete the necessary online waiver and submit it in advance of the ride. You can show up on the day of the ride\, but you will not be guaranteed participation or lunch if the event is full. Don’t wait\, as we fully expect this event to max out very quickly. \nSo come on out and experience the beauty of the Calabogie North! The leaves will be turning and the temperatures will be perfect for riding. \nTHE RIDE PLAN: We will divide into groups based on skill level to conduct led rides of Calabogie North. \nParticipants should be mindful of their capabilities and are encouraged to ride well within their limits. \nPlease consult the BMA skills assessment to gauge your current riding level – What Level Rider Am I? \nREQUIREMENTS: \n\nOn your first ride at Calabogie\, select a skill level one level lower than you think you are capable of.\nEnsure your bike is in top condition.\nBring plenty of hydration and trail snacks such as energy bars.\n\nWE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! \n\nPlease sign up here and mention that you want to volunteer for the Steve Garnsey Fall Trail Ride.\n\nIf selected as a volunteer\, a BMA Event Coordinator will contact you directly before the event. \nRegistration form:  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Participants are asked to bring their lunches.\nPlease be gassed up\, ready to ride at 10:30 a.m.\nThe ride will last 3-3.5 hours.\n\nThis ride will include twisty gravel and paved roads but nothing technical. \nSince this is a charity ride\, we are requesting a donation of at least $20 or more for the humane society and a dog rescue group.
