Expect something interesting from the BMA outdoor kitchen (drinks included). \nSUMMARY: \nBuilt by women\, for women — this is your space to ride\, learn\, and feel confident on the trails. \nWhether it’s your first time on a bike or you’ve been riding for years\, you’ll have the chance to ride with an incredible community of women who share the same passion. Join a group ride\, cruise the beginner-friendly green loop at your own pace\, and take breaks in our shaded lounge area to connect and recharge. \nGuys are welcome too — as long as they’re coming out to support their moto ladies. \nSUPPORT: Will be provided to load/unload your trailer and there will be a help onsite in case your bike isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do. \nCAMPING: We are looking at options for overnight stay – Wildwood Camp Grounds \nTHE RIDE PLAN: We will divide into groups based on skill level to conduct led rides of Limerick Forest. SUMMARY:Ride for Dad - Dual Sport  - Registration Closed
DESCRIPTION:Be sure to read all information on this site carefully before proceeding.\n \nRegistration: 8:30 am\nRiders Meeting: 9:30 am\nRide goes until: 2:30 – 3:00 pm \n2026 BMA Dual sport and Adventure Bike Ride for Dad. \nCome join us Sunday June 7 th for approximately 150 km of big bike semi aggressive terrain. This route offers great views of lakes and back country that experienced riders and smaller bikes can also enjoy at their own pace. We will be riding mostly off of the pavement but your bike must be plated and street legal. You should be comfortable riding is loose gravel\, dirt rocky terrain. 50/50 tires at least. \nThe ride should take approximately 4-6hrs depending on how many breaks you take. Lunch is not provided so bring a few power bars or grab something at the gas stop. This will be a GPS route intended for groups of 4 or 5 at a time to reduce dust and congestion. We look toward to seeing everyone June 7 th! \nLOCATION: Near the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course (look for the signs for BMA parking). The staging area will be behind the tennis court on Spindle Drift Court \nThis will be a GPS route the leaders of each group should have basic knowledge and own a gps unit or can use a phone app GAIA or similar. \nWe will need 4 volunteers (Experienced Riders please) for this event to lead and/or sweep. Please indicate you are available to volunteer when you register. Leads MUST have a strong knowledge of the south side trails. Be able to read a gps route.  Sweeps need to be intermediate\, or advanced riders. \nCOST: Free for BMA members and only open to BMA members. Expect something interesting from the BMA outdoor kitchen (drinks included). \nSUMMARY: \nThis guided ride is in memory of Steve Garnsey\, a BMA member and contributor to the BMA and trail development in the Calabogie area. \nWe will stage from the gravel pit that serves as the normal staging area for Northside Riding and enjoy the sweet sounds\, smells\, and vistas of Calabogie’s north-side trails. This will be a guided ride\, with groups organized during the riders Meeting. \nTo ensure the safety of all riders and volunteers\, the total number of attendees for this event is limited to 85 total\, including riders and volunteers. \nYou are asked to register and complete the necessary online waiver and submit it in advance of the ride. You can show up on the day of the ride\, but you will not be guaranteed participation or lunch if the event is full. Don’t wait\, as we fully expect this event to max out very quickly. \nSo come on out and experience the beauty of the Calabogie North!
