How do I volunteer?
Volunteer activities are linked directly to specific events and activities.
- Review the list of club events and identify events you they would like to support.
- Click on the button for volunteer sign up during the registration process for any event where volunteers are required.
- Not sure where to start or just want to indicate an interest in volunteering and helping with the BMA, express your interest in Volunteering here
The event organizer and/or volunteer coordinator will monitor volunteer returns and communicate directly with the volunteers to fill vacancies, arrange training as required, make adjustments, and coordinate details. The event organizer will also provide feedback to the volunteer during and following the event, as necessary.
The last step in the process is to record your volunteer hours.
Recording volunteer hours
On your computer, phone or tablet, go to this website, open the “About BMA” tab, open the “Record Volunteer Hours” tab and fill in the form. Or simply click here.
The club uses the “recorded hours” to recognize the contribution of volunteers, to determine the overall of club volunteer participation, and to use the data in discussions with interested stakeholders.
