Calabogie Boogie Trail Ride

New this year, the Calabogie Boogie Trail Ride will be a self guided GPS ride.  Trails will not be arrowed, and riders are responsible to upload the provided GPX file(s) to their device or use the RideOFTR App.  A sample GPX file will be sent via email once your payment is confirmed. The final GPX file(s) will be emailed on Sept. 2nd. Riders are encouraged to bring a GPS unit or pair up with someone who has one.

Date: September 7 & 8, 2024

Location: For Saturday and Sunday, the staging area is at Calabogie Highlands Golf Course, 981 Barryvale Road.

Rider limits: Limited to the first 200 pre-registered riders.

Cost: $175 – Lunches, maps and memorabilia are NOT guaranteed for registrations after Aug. 1. (There are no one day registrations.)

Registration check-in & Sign In:

  • 6:00 pm until 9:15 pm Friday (Calabogie Highlands Golf Course)
  • 7:30 am until 8:45 am Saturday (Calabogie Highlands Golf Course)

Riders’ Meeting: 9:00 am Saturday and Sunday. (Ride starts immediately after meeting). Sweeps will begin trail closures starting at 9:45 am to ensure all trails are swept and closed before dinner. ​

Trail rider information: This IS Ontario’s premiere ride event and draws riders from Ontario, Quebec, and the Northeastern U.S. The ride is suitable for advanced novice to expert riders, not suitable for children, beginner or novice riders. Small wheeled motorcycles will have difficulty. Riders under 16 years of age need to be strong riders and need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Most trails will be single track, although dirt road and atv trails may be used as connectors. Calabogie can be a challenging ride area. The start and finish point for Saturday and Sunday is the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course. Each day, there will be a main loop, with various optional routes marked for difficulty ranging from Level 3 (intermediate) to Level 5 (experts only). Tips:

  • PLEASE ensure your bike is in top condition, running 15 lbs. air pressure. 
  • Bring plenty of hydration and trail snacks such as energy bars.
  • Lunch is provided on the trail on Saturday.  Lunch is available for purchase at the golf course on Sunday and is not included in the ride fee.
  • Premium Gas will be available free of charge on Saturday at the lunch stop, but you need to bring your own oil.
  • Primitive camping available at the start/finish points at Calabogie Highlands Golf Course. Other accommodations. Also see Accommodations in the North Frontenac business directory 
  • Breakfast will NOT be available on Saturday & Sunday.
  • Please “ARRIVE CLEAN” and be free of any mud or debris to prevent the spread of invasive species.
