Ride for Dad – Dual Sport
2026 BMA Dual sport and Adventure Bike Ride for Dad.
Come join us Sunday June 7 th for approximately 150 km of big bike semi aggressive terrain. This route offers great views of lakes and back country that experienced riders and smaller bikes can also enjoy at their own pace. We will be riding mostly off of the pavement but your bike must be plated and street legal. You should be comfortable riding is loose gravel, dirt rocky terrain. 50/50 tires at least.
The ride should take approximately 4-6hrs depending on how many breaks you take. Lunch is not provided so bring a few power bars or grab something at the gas stop. This will be a GPS route intended for groups of 4 or 5 at a time to reduce dust and congestion. We look toward to seeing everyone June 7 th!

LOCATION: Near the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course (look for the signs for BMA parking). The staging area will be behind the tennis court on Spindle Drift Court
This will be a GPS route the leaders of each group should have basic knowledge and own a gps unit or can use a phone app GAIA or similar.
We will need 4 volunteers (Experienced Riders please) for this event to lead and/or sweep. Please indicate you are available to volunteer when you register. Leads MUST have a strong knowledge of the south side trails. Be able to read a gps route. Sweeps need to be intermediate, or advanced riders.
COST: Free for BMA members and only open to BMA members. A $20 donation to Ride for Dad is highly encouraged.
LUNCH: Not provided.
Participants should be mindful of their capabilities and are encouraged to ride within their limits. Please consult the BMA skills assessment to gauge your current riding level.
